COMMON PESTS
Pavement Ants

The Pavement Ant gets its name because it is known for locating its nest in or under cracks in pavement.  They can be found throughout the United States.  In some cases Pavement Ants may nest inside walls, insulation, and under floors. They will usually nest near ground-floor masonry walls or foundations where there is a good heat source. They will often follow pipes through to upper levels of the building. Outside, these ants typically nest under stones, in cracks in pavement, and next to buildings. They enter buildings through cracks in walls, slab expansion joints, and the natural openings of the building. These ants are not known to be aggressive but can bite and sting. For the most part they are a nuisance, as they will feed on almost anything including: structural materials and household foods.

In order to eliminate these kinds of ants, SAWYER will follow them back to their food source and use preventative products to create a lasting solution to the problem.
