SAWYER: A Family Tradition
SAWYER traces its roots back to 1931, in Buffalo, New York, when F.D. Sawyer first entered into the pest control market with a small family-owned company called Idalene. The company grew over the years and soon was serving clients throughout the northeastern region of the United States. The company traditions of honesty, quality service, and careful attention were passed down to W.C. Sawyer who, in 1958 incorporated the business as Sawyer Exterminating based out of Rochester, New York. While continuing to meet the needs and demands of an ever increasing client list, he also quickly recognized the needs of the booming agriculture industry in the western United States, particularly with the massive, Idaho potato processing industry. In 1981, Todd Sawyer relocated to Boise, Idaho to expand operations and better serve clientele throughout the Northwest. Later, in 2001 with the retirement of W.C. Sawyer, all operations in the East were sold, while Todd Sawyer consolidated and continued to manage the operations in the Northwest, still maintaining the virtue and tradition of his forefathers.
Today, SAWYER continues to flourish as the premier provider of pest protection services both in the residential and commercial markets. The SAWYER mission is to be recognized as the service company of choice and as the employer of choice within the industry.

SAWYER is proud to be a Quality Pro company. Quality Pro is considered to be the "Good Housekeeping" seal of approval of the pest control industry. Less than 2% of pest control companies have earned the title of Quality Pro. Quality Pro companies go above and beyond the industry standards.
